Endotoxin Removal

Endotoxins are the main component of the outer membrane of gram-negative bacteria and are of vital importance to their survival.  Endotoxins are released when these bacteria cells are ruptured.  They can be a cause of fever and illness when entering the human bloodstream.  Due to these reactions, it is critical to remove endotoxins from drugs, injectables, and other biological and pharmaceutical products.   Endotoxins are effectively reduced using charged nylon membrane cartridges by way of surface adsorption on to the membrane charge sites.
