E-PA-S Series nylon 66 (PA) pleated filter cartridges provide general-purpose micronic and submicronic particulate retention along with improved economy versus specialty grades. The nylon membrane has a long and successful history and traditional use across a range of industries including pharmaceuticals and food/beverage production.
Being naturally hydrophilic, cartridges allow for fast and easy wetting in aqueous fluids. The optional positive zeta potential surface charge allows retention of particulate much finer than the stated rating.

Features

  • Durable nylon membrane and polypropylene components
  • Naturally hydrophilic for fast & easy wetting
  • "Z" surface charge option improves retention of haze, colloids, and endotoxins
  • Component materials comply with US FDA and EU regulations for safe use with food and potable water.

Applications

  • Food products, beverages, potable water
  • High-purity deionized water systems
  • Pharmaceutical ingredients and solutions
  • Endotoxin removal

Product Quality

  • Individual elements are identified by serial number.
  • Produced in a clean-room environment for product purity & cleanliness.
  • Manufactured within an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system.
  • Each filter element is inspected for compliance with requirements for manufactured cartridge integrity.
  • Meets USP Biological Reactivity Test requirements of the current USP <88> for Plastics Class VI-121°C.
