Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)
PTFE is hydrophobic (water repellant) and highly inert to chemical attack. It’s best suited for filtration of harsh organic chemicals, acids, and bases. Its hydrophobicity makes it ideal for venting of air and gases from process systems.
